We were lucky enough to arrive at the Matchez Cemetery just as a very special tour was starting. We enjoyed a memorable walk through this beautiful and historic site and were greeted by the "ghosts" of some of the remarkable people buried there. Many of the reenactors were actual descendants of the persons they portrayed and all were excellent. This tour is called Angels on the Bluff. We ended it with a visit to this beautiful statue.
