(DSC02205) Catarman sunken cemetery lies 20 feet underwater of Barrio Bonbon is among the evidences of the island's volcanic eruption. Divers and snorkelers can be able to explore the coral encrusted tombstone. The marks of the cemetery which remains above sea level is its huge cross which was constructed in 1982 to mark the community cemetery which sunk during the 1871 volcanic eruption. In the month of November, a fluvial procession organized by the townfolks of Barangay Bonbon is held to give credit to the sunken graves of their forefathers.
