Album Info:
The Cathedral of St Joseph was one the 26 colonial churches declared as National Cultural Treasures in 2001. The church, dating back to the 17th century, was constructed by the Augustinian Recollects in 1640, and its interior features a Byzantine altar, stained-glass windows and an extensive collection of religious antiquities such as Baroque-style "retablos". Retablos are designated as “portable, flat, two-dimensional, painted wood or relief panel” designs. Please note that I have created a separate photo album featuring this cathedral.
