Album Info:
(DSC01323) Muddy Brown River Water: When I visited this underground river in July 2011, I noticed the water was brown. I believe that during the rainy seasonal months from June to November, the underground river water turns to muddy brown. This may be caused by the mountain's top soil mixed with the rainwater that all drain into the river. But during the summer months from February to May, water appears blue to emerald green when there is very little or no rainwater running off the mountain slopes and into the river. On those rainless summer months, the river's water source solely come from the mountains' (Mts. Cleopatra's Needle, Bloomfield & St. Paul) several clear crystal springs.
