Album Info:
Pachacuti was a highly efficient king. He introduced modern governance with a code of laws. He elevated religion to a spiritual level and also embarked on construction of buildings on a monumental scale. All this glory lasted until, in its zenith of cultural ascendancy, the last of the Inca kings Atahualpa was captured and executed by the Spanish conquistadors in 1532. In the next 30 years Manco Inca tried to recapture the highlands but was unsuccessful. After him Inca Tupac Amaru led a rebellion but was defeated by the Spanish in 1572 and the Inca's resistance effectively came to an end. During their reign, the Incas reached architectural mastery and left behind some spectacular temples and other buildings.

I was born in Peru. Always I asked by myself How the Inca built Macchupicchu? How they discovered this mounatin to carry millions of stones without wheels? How they carried the material up to the mountain?

Such definitive great lost for all Humanity; I presume that as everywhere, Spanish representant of Roman Church ordered also autodafes! What could be the Inca to-day? Perhaps a kind of Dalai-Lama!
