All the Red Cross workers slept right here, about 500-800 of us. There were 3 other rooms filled with volunteers for other organizations too. Lights came on at 6 am. and off at 10 pm. I was there til the day they closed it, staying with the Demo group. In my time of 5 weeks, population went from about 1000+ to less than 50.
