Album Info:

Dmitry Vrubel's most famous work. Painted in 1990 on the Berlin Wall, it depicts Leonid Brezhnev, the former leader of the Soviet Union, kissing East German leader Erich Honecker. A message on the top and bottom reads, "Oh, G-d! Help Me Survive Amid This Deadly Love." The idea that this kind of political statement could be made openly was a triumph over the oppressive regime that had been controlling the lives of East Berliners.
