Album Info:
There are a lot of misconceptions concerning the "green flash" at sunset only because most people do not know what to look for, where to look, or they simply blink and miss it. The "green flash" certainly does exist; especially in the tropics and when viewing the sunset from out at sea. It doesn't last longer than a few microseconds and I've never seen one that was just jaw dropping; however, I did get, what I feel is, a pretty good shot of one during this session. As you can see, the last sliver of sun turns a greenish tinge just before it slips below the horizon. Oh boy! And here you probably thought the "green flash" was something really spectacular.
