Hello, Thank You for these adorable photos of giraffes always elegant and in surprising attitudes; We have lodged in this manor whose name was in 1977 'Fairview Hotel'; The outside looking has not changed and I remember the typical British atmosphere; Thank You to share these awesome images that bring us nice memories, Jacques from Paris

Is this an inn or a private residence?

WOW! Absolutely stunning! Downright breathtaking! Would love to see some photos of the descendants of Walter, Sr the very first warthog to take up residence at the Manor. He was named after Walter Cronkite who used to visit the Manor annually and grew to appreciate warthog's "beauty". Betty Leslie-Melville authored a book appropriately entitled: "Walter Warthog...The warthog who moved in." I'm also interested in the history of the other wonderful animals mentioned in this precious book as well!

Amazing! I so loved seeing the artistic creativity in taking pictures of such magnificent and beautiful animals. I have read about them my whole life...maybe someday, I will be able to see them in person.

This is a great photo. My dream is to visit Giraffe Manor some day. I fell in love with giraffes years ago at Africa Country Safari when one of them bent down and looked at me with those big eyes and long eyelashes. A note to jbx2bart: the reporter was Lynn Sherr who wrote the book and did the special.

I an SO excited to find a picture of Rothschild Giraffe here to download onto my computer screen. I fell in love w/them when I saw Lesly Stahl's special "Tall Blondes". How awesome it must have been to be there w/them. You captured their grace & their manors beautifully. I'd love to go see them one day myself. Thank you for going & sharing your love for them w/us, Jackie
