This old shrub is down the street from my sister's house outside of Philadelphia. It's Latin name is Euonymus alata and is known for its vibrant color. The seeds are edible for wildlife other than humans.

This is very beautiful. I think it is called Burning Bush. I have one in my yard, but it isn't turning colours yet. Good luck on the challenge.
