Album Info:
Glacier debris creates striking patterns against blue ice. The ice crystals in the glaciers appear blue because the pure ice, without trapped air, in the glacier absorbs shorter wavelengths except blue.

Suresh I am just totally blown away by the magnificent sights you have captured in this wonderful album my friend!!! I am watching it on slideshow ,the Humpback Whale captures bought tears to my eyes ,how wild how beautiful ,how unspoiled and magical all of this is , wonderful ,wonderful album Suresh !!! Congratualtions on a superb effort my friend ,the Glaciers are so glorious!!! I have walked on the Frans Joseph and Fox Glaciers here in New Zealand - they are very humbling creations aren't they and the colouring has to been seen to be believed ,they are mighty wonders that is for sure!!!
