Album Info:

This cotton field is located upcountry outside of Statesborough where we spent Thanksgiving Day with extended family. The trees are pecan with hundreds of nuts scattered on the ground below them. We spent most of the morning picking them up, cracking their hard shells together and eating the sweet nut hidden inside before sitting down to our Thanksgiving feast. This is among my favorite photographs of the collection. It is like stepping back one hundred and fifty years in time. It also stirs recollections of a very special day.

    • This is a beauty. I can see why it is one of your favorite photographs. It is one of those pictures that pulls you in and like my daughter says, you just want to step into the picture and stay there for awhile. Great capture Clark.
