WOW! Just eerily beautiful! The Tanana Valley sure didn't look anything like this when I was on fire duty. I spent 6 weeks out in the wilderness there, with 6 teams that I flew around to in a helicopter to get their timesheets. The valley got so smoky that we were down to our last MRE (Meals Ready to Eat), before a helicopter made it in with supplies. I digress.... more about ALL that fun later. Great shot! You adventurous one, you!
