  • Jackye38, Yes, i am sure what is said on the plaque is true. I have spoken to James Ausborn and believe he is telling the truth. I have looked inside. Some things have changed, but most of the restaurant is the same. Also, there is a 1956 photo of Elvis in one of the booths, donated by the photographer.

  • Are you really sure Elvis went to Johnnie's and ate what this plaque says. Let's tell the true. Look at some of the photos inside and then look at the actually surroundings.

  • Mike, on our first trip in June 2002, stupid me missed the 25th anniversary, we went to Tupelo and stoped at all the places you have posted photos of on here. Thanks again for the great photos. Did not have a digital camera in 02 so pics are buried in a box.
