The Cinque Terre ("Five lands") are 5 little villages built into the rocks between the sea, terraced hills and vineyards. The villages are: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso al Mare. The distance between the first and the last village is about 18 kilometers or 11 miles.

  • Nice sgot of this quaint town in the mountains. So many of my friends families here in Santa Barbara are from these beautiful vilages in Italy and Switzerland and many of them return to visit their ancestrial homes quitte often! Thank you for sharing the photos of them.
