Stunning! We were in Alaska last year, but Denali was covered by clouds. I hear that's much more usual than what you saw. Congratulations!

Your photos are terrific! When did you go to Alaska? Looks like perfect weather. We just got back on 9/21 from 7 day cruise. We had rain every day except at Hubbard Glacier and Skagway. Check out the video I got of the Hubbard Glacier calving. My photos are a great as yours, but I had a great time taking them. Take care.

Very nice! I hope to see Alaska and it's features, in person, some day. Until then, this album will have to do!

Excellent shot Suresh! Many, many years ago my 'climbing-hiking' friends asked me to go join them ...and my reason to decline invitation was that it is one of the coldest mountains on the earth!

Thank you so much for your wonderful message Suresh!! You are so sweet!! This is a breathtaking view of Denali!! Her native Athabascan name translates as ~ The Great One ~ and has been restored, as the park has been renamed Denali National Park and Preserve. The name restoration is an ongoing Alaska campaign to change her reference with all the websites and signs. Are you flying over here?? It is a magnificent view!! Astonishing colours, the blues are brilliant!! Were you just in the Interior?? I wish I had known!! We could have met for a coffee in Fairbanks or Delta Junction, that would have been wonderful!! Oh boy - here we go!! I foresee another stunning album coming up ( and I've only looked at this one photo so far!!) I always look at photos full screen by the way because I feel that;s the only way of doing them justice. At 20,000 plus feet this makes OUR highest mountain (Kusciusko) at just over 7000 feet seem positively tiny!!
