This looks like our local "saluyot" veggie. But not sure though. [Indeed, ladywyoh and measles123, these are amaranths (Amaranthus spinosus L.) from the spinach family. Thank you both for this info. In the local Ilocano parlance it is "kulanay", and Tagalog it is "kulitis".]
