Pagsanjan Falls (or Magdapio Falls) in Cavinti, Laguna

Album Info:
Magdapio Falls, more popularly known as Pagsanjan Falls, is the main source of the Bumbungan River that joins another river (Balanac). The confluence of both rivers passes through Pagsanjan town. This 120 m (393 ft) high waterfall is located in the territorial jurisdiction of Cavinti municipality and not Pagsanjan as most people would think. The 2-hr ride to the Falls will take you to a series of upstream rapids - 14 in all - as the 2 boatmen squeeze you through huge boulders amidst strong current & oncoming boats on their way down from the falls! The boatmen themselves are fascinating as they deftly hop from one side of the canoe to the other running over huge rocks or on cliff walls as they agilely guide the canoe through the narrow passages of the gorge. After braving the rapids, the Falls itself is a sight to behold! (Taken from http://www.philippinesinsider.com/luzon/ a-journey-through-the-rapids-of-pagsanja n-falls/)
