Elvis, his parents and grandmother lived at 185 Winchester #328. They walked through the middle door of the building facing the camera. Enlarge the image to see the "185" over the door. Their apartment is on the first floor. After climbing a few steps their door would face them. Apartment #327 was to the left and #329 to the right. Elvis was photographed a few times in front of this building and elsewhere within the projects. The windows below the door are part of the basement laundry facility. Elvis is said to have practiced his guitar on the front steps of this building and in the basement. Next is an image from the past.
