  • Hi David, Salinitas should be beautiful in nov. The rains would have stopped and the wheather is beautiful. Beach is great and the planse swinging with activities for all ages. Don't drink water from the tap and don't venture outside with a wallet full of money. If you do go ouside, do it in a group. The tour operator or the hotel itself, should give you ample choices of places to visit. I recommend the high altitude areas, particularly in coffee country. Also, the northern part of the country, though a bit far and going there and back would take a full day. San Salvador, the capital, is worth while, if you want to do some shopping. Don't venture into nearby Acajutla. Nothing to do or see there. A little farther is Cerro Verde (green hill) that overlooks the crater of Izalco volcano. Overwhelming view. The convenience store in the hotel is outrageoulsy expensive, so bring your own sunscreen lotions, T shirts, hats, trunks, etc. There is no need for you to bring gifts, except if you have friens in El Salvador, who you plan to visit. Hope you enjoy the trip.

  • Great shots! How was Salinitas as a resort? We are going in November. Any do's and don'ts? Any info would be appreciated. Tipping helps? Bring gifts? Things to see outside the resort? Thanks, David
