Love Poem "Below the Western Hill" by Buhi resident, Benjamin A. Claveria

Album Info:
1- Below the Western Hill Has gone to rest the silver moon, Now all is dark and still And peaceful in the sleeping town. 2- And while I sing of you Out here in the dark and the cold, I think once more of all The sorrows and the joys of old. 3- Is it your face I dimly see In the dark where night winds blow? Is it your voice I faintly hear From the stillness whispering low? 4- I mind no more the loneliness And the cold; my heart is free. I may be far away from you But you're dreaming, dear, of me. ~~~ (Taken from http://buhiclaveria.tripod.com/war_years .htm)

Dear Ding, As regards your query about the poem by Buhi resident, Benjamin Claveria, it started when I was searching for an appropriate poem to match the other 12 or so still untitled scene shots of Lake Buhi. Because I found the lake so naturally beautiful, I wondered if there were poems ever written about it. So I googled "poem lake buhi", and true enough, there was this poem and this sentimental love story that wove around it. My heart just melted as I was reading the article. Immediately I plucked that out and it's now there in my Lake Buhi album for all to read and get mushy about it. :-) So glad you like the poem (and story), too! ~~~Mary Ann

This is a simple and carefree scenery and you have captured that well in this photo. And... how did you find this poem anyway? Nice touch my friend.
