Directamente frente al Alcázar está la calle La Atarazana, fue la primera calle comercial del nuevo mundo. Sus casas hechas en ladrillo fueron utilizadas como almacenes en el siglo XVI. Hoy estos edificios funcionan como tiendas, restaurantes y bares: Pat´e Palo, Harry´s, y el Museo del Jamón, entre otros. La Atarazana es un buen lugar para sentarse bajo una sombrilla y disfrutar de un trago frío.
