Just north of Foster Garden and located between North Kuakini and School Streets, is Lili`uokalani Botanical Garden. Portions of this 7½ acre garden were once the property and favorite picnic grounds of Queen Lili`uokalani, the last reigning monarch of Hawai`i.

    • this place CAN'T be real!!!! Soooo beautiful!!! OH, by the way, your comment about the leptospirosis bacteria was such a shock!!! How incredibly tragic to have such an inviting vision be so treacherous ... I presume the same problem is here as well?? Wow ... isn't there anything that can be done about it without goofing up the delicate balance of nature or what ever the objection would be??
