Album Info:
(DSC01666) Imelda is depicted in this mural painting as the mother of all Filipinos, cradling them as mother nurturing her children. Nature's bounty is reflected in the richness of the seas. Her husband, Ferdinand, is relegated to the background (even partly concealed by the drapes) in the photo above. (Taken from http://www.yousaytoo.com/romualdez-museu m-santo-nino-shrine-in-tacloban-leyte-pa rt-5/313845) ... Here is a large painting mural of Imelda as Aphrodite coming up from the sea. She is seen craddling in her arms a huge clam with pearls having faces that resemble her 4 children - Imee, Bong Bong, Irene & adopted daughter, Aimee. Behind Imelda is a god-like spirit that resembles her husband, Ferdinand.
