Album Info:
In the early twentieth century, the Church of England decided they needed a new diocese in Suffolk and decided to place the cathedral in Bury St. Edmunds, at the parish church of St. Edmundsbury. Thus, while the nave is over five-hundred years old, the tower and east end are new. The joining of the two is visible in this picture.
