The 64th annual Aloha Festivals Floral Parade closed streets from Ala Moana Park to Kapiolani Park on Saturday morning, September 25th. The procession of pau riders, extravagant floats, hula halau and marching bands began at 9:00 AM and lasted until one in the afternoon. Over 2,000 individuals took part along with 40 vehicles, 10 bands and 15 floats. The parade started at the Ewa entrance of Ala Moana Park, headed down Ala Moana Boulevard to Kalakaua Avenue all the way through Waikiki ending up on Monsarrat Avenue and finishing at the Waikiki Shell. This year's theme was "Mele 'Ailana - Celebrate Island Music." Danny Kaleikini and Kealoha Kalama were this year's ambassadors of aloha.
