Mahalo dearest Leo. Thank you for your kind note on Red Bubble. It is always good to hear from you. It would be such fun if you travel to the island. It really isn't that far. Are you experiencing summer now? We are in the tropical winter with much blessed rain. (Today's date 10 January 2009) And the banana trees in our backyard at this moment are blooming with the most enormous flowers I have ever seen, they are loaded with fruit! The island is saturated and everything is green and beautiful. Maui is the island of rainbows, I see them in all directions most every day and it is so wonderful to see the streams flowing on the eastern side of the island. Jacob and I met with one of his long time friends yesterday who is a pilot and we may be going up in a helicopter within the next couple of weeks. We are planning to fly over Maui, Moloka'i and the other neighboring islands of Kaho'olawe and Lana'i. It will be so fantastic!! 'Ae, three years, we have been friends always I believe. I have known you in many lives. I send you my kindest wishes for you and your beautiful family. I wish you every happiness my dearest friend Leo.

I like this image. He appears alone on a secluded but well trodden stretch of beach, sun is low or high, after everyone has gone or before they arrived, either way, he is comfortable alone with silence, and probably prefers it.
