Lavandula Angustifolia - Common or True Lavender - the plant from which the essential oil is most commonly derived, as it has the most blossoms, and is most aromatic. Leaves repel insects, and the flowers will curb cravings for smokers. Believed to prevent the Black Plague, which has some truth, since it repels fleas and other insects.
