This Carousel designed and handcrafted in Italy by Bertazzon Company, is intricately hand-painted and depicts famous San Francisco landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, Chinatown, Lombard St,Alcatraz and the California Sea Lions at Pier 39. It is the only Carousel in the USA that has renderings of its home city. 1800 twinkling lights illuminate the carousel, which has moving horses, rocking chariots spinning tubs and swinging swings.
