Album Info:

(DSC07559) The Ocean Adventure Park is something of a miniature Sea World of San Diego, California. A VERY, very small version of it though. Furthermore, the park is just a small segment of what was once the huge Subic US Naval Base (in Zambales province) used by the Americans after WWII up to 1991 when the base was permanently closed, along with Clark Airforce Base in Clarkfield, Pampanga province. Our Philippine leaders thereafter converted all the US military base facilities into commercial and tourist hubs. And the Ocean Adventure Park was just one of many results of the bases conversion. We Filipinos are grateful to the Americans for preserving the rich lands & the virgin forests that reside inside those bases while these were in their care.
