Album Info:

Former residence of King Carol I or Romania. Built in 1883, this was the first castle in Europe entirely lit by electrical current. Electricity was produced by an electrical plant located on the bank of the nearby Peles creek.

  • I was 5 years old when I spent my first vacation here with my mother and afterwards many, many other. It is my favourite place - Sinaia - with its old villas and church and this beautiful castle.
