    • Neat shot Mary Ann :-) very unusual and one going this way and one going the other way and the imprints are not sunk in but are raised up :-) cool! photo

    • Judy, looking more closely at the footprints, I think you are absolutely right. There are 2 different shapes of footprints. I think your analysis holds more "beach" water! :-) Thanks for your insight - most useful (and really fun) indeed! ~~~Mary Ann

    • Again I'm viewing a slideshow due to time constraints, but had to stop at this one. I looked carefully at the footprints and I think they are from two people, the one going up has a higher instep. Perhaps the one going down pointed 'his' toe to plant his foot in the correct spot so he could offset 'her' prints? Fun shot! ... Judy

    • Ding, I wondered too about that myself which was why I took the shot. He/she must have doubled-back after going one direction, skipping his previous footprints. Noticed how the set of footprints going down had its big toes sunk deeper than the footprint set going up? Either he/she ran back, or that he/she carried something back. Hmmm, sounds like CSI Boracay, huh? :-) Anyway, thanks for that observation. ~~~Mary Ann

    • How could this be? They must have passed each other within minutes because both sets of prints are fresh. Never mind the foot prints, the sand looks real fine. It makes me want to catch the next boat to Boracay!
