Album Info:

The tanker on the horizon is one of many bringing petroleum to the islands. There is an offshore deposit site where they offload their cargo directly from the ship and pipe it to the refinery at Barber's Point. I used to think they spoiled my view of the sunset; however, I now accept them as an integral part of island life, welcome their presence, and include them in my photographs. By the way, we're currently paying around $2.97 per gallon of regular gas out here. Such is the price to live in paradise.

  • When you live in paradise you aren't supposed to complain about the price of gas! LOL
