As seen from the side, you get the idea how small it is. Just two rooms, 30 feet long by 15 feet wide. The park setting of the Birthplace is nice and very different from its original appearance. New exhibits in Birthplace Museum show 1940's era photos of the Birthplace and surrounding homes. The Birthplace home was one of several homes in poor condition, all with outhouses (outdoor toilets) in back.
