This is an order of monja frying up on the griddle-table. If you've had okonomiyaki, it's like that except with a liquid sauce rather than grain based batter. If you haven't had okonomiyaki, it just means there's a bunch of other selectable ingredients thrown in the batter. This particular monja is of the kim chee variety, so it has chinese cabbage and lots of salt and pepper in it. This pile of slop was 550 yen. A good deal!
