Album Info:

Those are dozens of cypress knees in the pond. I did see a giant blue heron lift off from here when we first arrived. Sadly, my camera was still in the car and we didn't see him again for the rest of the day.

    • This is gorgeous with the yellowed wheat type grass in the foreground, and the reflection of the trees on the backside of the pond (its too bad that the heron didn't stay a little longer so that you get a picture or two with him in it). ~Deb & Rick~

    • OK, I am pretty sure that it was this one, but then it is almost midnight and it is hard to be sure about anything at this hour. However, if I didn't say this before, I will tell you now how much I love the composition in this picture. The oatgrass in the foreground, the reflections in the water and the interesting flora and green trees against that beautiful sky all come together for an awesome picture.
