We found this oryx resting under a tree, probably to escape the heat of the day. Surprisingly, it did not run away; they are normally very shy animals.

wow, he is wonderful! Looks like he found a nice grassy spot to hang out too ~ now, just for some water & he's all set! a beautiful creature indeed. He looks fat & healthy too. Are their any predators like lions around the area too? We have mountain lions where I live & they are afraid of nothing!
