Album Info:

My mother in law, Patsy, has several citrus trees in her front yard including tangerines, tangelos, oranges, lemons and Indian River grapefruit. Obviously, she got a bumper crop this year. These tangerines are really juicey and as sweet as candy. Patsy squeezes the best grapefruit juice to be found anywhere. It will make you pucker your lips and shake your head. Hawaii's agricultural restrictions prevented us from bringing any fruit home with us, but we certainly enjoyed it every day while we were visiting.

    • Oh WOW! I can only imagine, after a lifetime here of suffering what has got to be the worst fruit on the market, how positively succulent those all must taste! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Oh and BTW - I love the dappled light in this shot! Very fine!

    • Wow......the mild coastal climate must be why Patsy can grow them up there. Florida had a "bumper crop" this year also, but here in the center of the state the winter freezes have killed so many orange groves over the last 20 years.
