The rear view of the Neuschwanstein castle, Bavaria, Germany

Album Info:

For tourists, it is possible to only photograph the side view and the rear view of the castle. Photographing the spectacular front view requires strenuous effort and mountain climbing skills or a hired helicopter, which, of course, is not allowed except when sanctioned by the city council. The day I arrived, the concierge of the hotel dispelled any such notion and advised that I concentrate on taking photographs from the Marienbruecke!

  • You did the best with what you had to work with :). This is a wonderful shot and the colors of the trees really set off the spectacular beauty of the castle. Good going! Judy of North Carolina USA

  • What fun it would be to get into one of those little towers on top and take pics looking out.

  • This is so beautifully framed. I'd settle for the side and rear views. I was really intrigued with the side view of Mt. Rushmore this summer.

  • Photos restrictions as in all Spain cathedrals are difficult to support for passionate photographers! I know this feeling!
