My chilhood Friend, Jean-Philippe Mesnier, great price of Roma, became the titular of this magnificent instrument; I climbed every Sunday morning the noisy dazzling spiral staircase to see the always amazing show of an organist at play and helped Him turning the music partition pages; On my 21 th birtday, He asked me at home to select all partitions of great pieces I loved and to come at St Peter entry at 10 pm; He was there with all selected partitions and with the huge St Peter 's key; He asked me to stay in the middle of the nave, sitting on a chair turned to the grand organ; He let the church dark and only lighted the instrument; Then he played all the pieces during four hours! I was quite crying of joy and even still now can never forget these moments!
