On the summit of Aztec Butte were these granaries. These were built by the Indians that inhabited this region 700 years ago. They are called granaries because they stored grain here. Photos 141-146 are of these granaries located on top of Aztec Butte. They were taken between 11:30-11:40 AM as we walked around the circumference of the top of Aztec Butte.
