The Discovery has replaced the Pajero, reason being that it has a towing capacity of 3500 KG compared to the Pajero's 2500 KG. It also has 6 speed gearbox, electronic airbag suspension etc, one added benefit is that a weight distribution device is no longer required, and on paper at least should be a better tow vehicle. Time will tell.
