Album Info:
The remaining part of the island is called the Tail End which stretches to 2½ mile. It consists of a low ridge and distinct hills that played important role in World War II. At the eastern part of the strip is a cemetery and the Kindley Field. Many structures and grounds were developed and reconstructed in the Tail End to satisfy the tourists that frequented the island.
