Red Deer is a mid size city (around 83,000 people) half way between Edmonton and Calgary in Alberta, Canada. I have been to Red Deer a few times because of work related meetings, conferences and a visit a while ago. This album focuses on the trip for a conference in Red Deer in June 2004. I had time at the end of the days to take some pictures of the city. There are several interesting sites for visitors who happen to be in Red Deer, especially the Red Deer Museum and the Douglas Cardinal designed St. Mary’s Catholic Church as shown in this photo.
