The Chapaev square is situated at the end of Kuybyshev Street. This little square is a witness of the architecture development of Russian style, modern style, constructivism, post-modernism in XIX - XX centuries. In 1932 the multi-figural monument to Chapaev was placed in the Chapaeva square. Its hight is 10 m, and it occupies the territory of 17 x 22 m. The author of this sculpture is M. Manizer. There is o copy of this monument in St-Petersburg, placed in 1933 in front of the Academy named after M. Budyonyi.
