After you make the turn, you will see this. St Jude Childrens Hospital was created by entertainer Danny Thomas. He dedicated the first building here in 1962. Today St. Jude is one of the best known charitable organizations in the United States. The small building with the golden dome is the visitors center, open to the public, for St. Jude. Look inside to learn more about the accomplishments of Danny Thomas and of his hospital. Part of the golden dome building is also a mausoleum. Danny and Rose Thomas chose to be buried here. To continue our walk, follow this street towards the dome. Then follow the curve to the right. Then you walk, yes; back under highway. The next building you will see to your right.
