Album Info:

At the entrance to the Konark Sun Temple is this statue of a Lion which has subdued an Elephant. The Elephant, in turn, has stamped a Human into pulp. As far as the symbolism goes, the Human (Manu) represents Vedic Hinduism, the Elephant represents Jainism, and the Lion represents the resurgence of classical Hinduism. The overall piece reflects the religio-social history of pre-13th Century India.
