Album Info:

Driving around Spain one sees about a hundred of these now-famous silhouettes. We were disappointed to discover that these toros (which are now being incorporated as symbols of Spain- evidenced by the cover photo of the lonely planet guide) are, in fact, corporate advertisements. For what company or product, I don't know, but disconcerting, nevertheless. Still, they make for a few nice photos.. So this one was somewhere between Toledo and Sevilla, and probably (if it was anywhere near, say, Jaen) surrounded by olive trees galore-- Andalucia produces a huge amount of the world's olive oil, which contributes to the fine, famous gastronomy of the Spanish south in which we were soon to indulge..
