Asipulo is a 5th class municipality in the province of Ifugao, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 12,294 people in 2,129 households. Near this terraces is the JCampbell Park or Julia Campbell Agroforest Memorial Eco-Park, an eco-park located in Barangay Pula in this town. The park is dedicated in memory of Julia Campbell, a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer working in the Philippines and was murdered in the area on her trek to Batad Rice Terraces. The rice terraces in the Philippines is one of the most spectacular engineeering feat of human creation. It is carved by hand for thousands of years and deserves to be the 8th Wonder of the world! This is an exquisite photo of these terraces and the stairs seem to go up farther than you can see. Thanks for sharing this, Mary Ann.
