St Joseph Cathedral Album: Dedicated to Jesus (raijomayo100)

Album Info:
St. Joseph Cathedral in Romblon was built by the Recollect Fathers in the 17th century. The church features a Byzantine altar, stained-glass windows and houses a genuine collection of antique icons and religious paintings. Because of the heavy Spanish influence on most of the features of this church brought about by 400 years of Spanish colonization of the Philippines, I saw fit to dedicate this entire album to a wonderful friend of mine from Spain, Jesus (raijomayo100). All his photo works are truly inspiring and somehow seem to glorify his own maker and namesake - Jesucristo!

Dear Mick, Thank you for dropping by my St Joseph Cathedral album. Truly appreciate you taking the time and effort to view this picture and write an encouraging comment. That cathedral is indeed a heritage treasure as it survived both time and the harsh tropical elements since the 17th century. For any edifice to stand that long and still stand so proudly in a remote rural island province in the Philippines - well, it really deserves the capture from my camera for the benefit of viewing eyes (like yours) who most probably will never get the chance to see it, if not for WS. Once again, Mick, I appreciate your visit and friendship. God bless! ~~~Mary Ann

There is no greater gift than the one than is born of the heart, and your friendship is my better gift, my better photo, my better landscape... I feel crushed by the gift, but happy like a small boy that it does not know that to say... Infinite thanks, dearest and wonderful Maryan.
